This is my 20th year of teaching art. I teach 230 students at Port Royal Elementary in PK through 5th grade. In the second year of teaching in SC about 15 years ago, I was invited to a Department of SC Ed summer training school for teachers. After 2 classes, I was invited to a class with a free computer and software to teach students art. I have been integrating art and technology since. This is my last class in a Master's in Ed Tech. I've loved the new teaching and new ways to involve students in learning.
I have been married 27 years. I grew up in Ohio and married my husband from Pittsburgh. After 5 years in Cleveland, OH, and 5 years in Meadville, PA, we moved to SC for teaching and planning jobs that was in 1999. We have two sons, 18 and 15, and a 7-year-old daughter. Life is really moving fast right now!
